Co-Founder & CEO

Helen brings over 25 years of expertise in clinical research administration, development, and expansion, with a proven record of driving business results and fostering innovation. She has successfully led clinical trials across all phases in diverse therapeutic areas, demonstrating deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, patient recruitment, data management, and study design.
Passionate about addressing industry needs, Helen excels in integrating research-naïve physicians into clinical trials, helping them build thriving research programs. Her dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) ensures that clinical trials serve a broad, representative patient population, enhancing the impact of research on diverse communities.
Helen collaborates closely with investigators and sponsors to streamline enrollment, exceed recruitment goals, and improve patient outcomes. Her visionary approach and commitment to empowering new research sites drives meaningful progress in advancing clinical care and expanding access to cutting-edge treatments.

Kirstan Cecil,

Co-Founder & President

Kirstan is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 25 years of experience driving growth and transformation. She excels in developing and executing strategic plans and creating optimized processes and playbooks to ensure repeatable growth. Her expertise in marketing and public relations has led to significant revenue growth and market expansion for both startups and established organizations.
She brings a keen focus to community integration, designing collaborative outreach initiatives and targeted communication programs that educate, engage, and inspire positive change, particularly for minority and underserved populations.
Known for delivering exceptional experiences for customers, patients, employees, and referral partners, she has earned a stellar reputation for excellence. Her unwavering commitment to improving lives and her contagious optimism inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals and deliver lasting impact.

Randall A. Ow, M.D.,

Medical Director

Dr. Randall A. Ow is a board-certified otolaryngologist and accomplished clinical research leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning private practice, academia, and industry-sponsored trials. As Medical Director of Medovation Clinical Research, he provides strategic oversight, clinical guidance, and mentorship to physicians—particularly those new to research—enabling them to build and lead high-performing research programs.
Dr. Ow currently serves as President and Chief Medical Officer of Davinci Research. He has served as Principal Investigator on numerous clinical trials, with a focus on ENT, allergy, and sleep-related conditions, contributing to the advancement of innovative therapies and improved patient outcomes.
In addition to his clinical and research leadership, Dr. Ow holds faculty appointments at leading academic institutions and is deeply committed to physician education and development. He previously served more than 15 years in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and served as Chief of Otolaryngology.
At Medovation, Dr. Ow plays a critical role in advancing clinical quality, supporting investigator success, and expanding access to clinical research within community-based care settings.
